Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This person will be involved in designing, creating, and implementing original digital content for marketing, recruiting, and building our company’s brand across social networks, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Ultimately, the ideal candidate will be capable of maintaining a strong visual tone and brand consistency while assisting in achieving our marketing goals.

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts
  • Post scheduled content via HubSpot per social media editorial calendar
  • Brainstorm campaign ideas
  • Monitor company’s various social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
  • Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service
  • Engage with customers, as directed by Marketing Manager
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes
  • Assist in creating performance reports

Requirements and Qualification:

  • As this is an internship program, current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program for social media marketing, communications, or equivalent is required
  • Prior experience in an internship or entry-level social media marketing role is not required
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities as listed above
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Proficient knowledge of social media analytical tools
  • Excellent written communication skills (journalism or copywriting experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently or on a team
  • Attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time (10 hours per week)

Salary: $15.00 per hour
