Job Title: Networking Engineer

Location: Onsite at RITE HQ, 1744 Independence Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34234 (Some local travel required)

Starting Pay: $62,920 annually at 50 hours a week plus benefits

What You’ll Do: As a Networking Engineer at RITE Technology, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, implementing and maintaining internal and external network infrastructures that power our and our clients’ operations. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, optimize system performance and ensure seamless integration of our technology solutions. What We’re Looking For:

Education & Certifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field is highly preferred.
• Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent certifications preferred, but not required.

Experience & Skills:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including design, implementation and support preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls and subnetting.
• Familiarity with network management tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect network infrastructure.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for network automation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Implementation:

• Design, deploy and configure secure and scalable network solutions for commercial environments.
• Integrate hardware and software systems, including switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure networks meet client requirements and performance standards.

System Maintenance & Optimization:

• Monitor and maintain network health, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Perform routine upgrades, updates, and patches to ensure system reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with minimal downtime.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement robust security measures to safeguard networks against cyber threats.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain system integrity.

Client Support & Collaboration:

• Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
• Assist in developing documentation, training materials, and best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for networking technologies and trends.
