Job description:

The Low-Voltage Project Integrator plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology solutions and business needs within our organization. This role involves assessing, installing, and implementing technology systems that enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and support our strategic goals. This role is primarily geared toward a growth-oriented individual who likes to work with their hands, wants to grow in their knowledge of technology and how they integrate to provide solutions for businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Using installation and hand tools and perform jobs from high places (on lifts, ladders, and roofs).

Successfully and efficiently install and integrate audio visual equipment as well as access control systems.

Perform installations and integrates technology while adhering to: company procedures and safe work practices and National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements.

Troubleshoot  with customer on equipment. Assesses and helps coordinate the install of Rite integration projects.

Communicate, engages and provide customer with education on products and services.

Properly operate and maintain installation tools, technology and equipment, such as installation hand tools, light power tools, meters, or ladders.

Demonstrates the ability to navigate digital tools including CAD drawings, project management software.

Obtain and maintain appropriate licensing and/or background checks based on federal, state, or municipality requirements where applicable.

Uses sound judgment in decision-making, problem-solving, project management and readily accepts ownership of personal decisions, behavior and or actions regardless of the outcome, to perform installation and service of products.

Completes associated record keeping in a timely manner in order to ensure all details of the work are recorded and documented before job is completed.

Job Qualifications:

ICT BICSI certifications of Installer 1, 2 or Technician.• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent and Vocational Training.

Knowledge of Audio Visual, technology and programming systems, intercom access control systems, a plus.

Ability to diagnose basic problems and read/understand basic blueprints.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to determine and implement resolution to complex field situations.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage panels, audio visual, wiring, and associated devices.

Self-motivation to work independently taking initiative in identifying and resolving problems.

Experience feeding cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position cables, wires, and strappings when needed.

Safely operated hand and power tools.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk & hear.

Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.

Must be able to sometimes work in difficult positions/circumstances with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.

Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.

Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
