Job Function: RITE Technology Controller

Salary: Starting at $62,400

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. As the RITE Technology

Controller, you would report directly to the CEO and be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the

company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in

financial management, accounting, and strategic planning to contribute to the company’s success.

Functions & Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and

general ledger functions.

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting

standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with department heads to create and manage the annual budget.

Provide financial forecasts and analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets,

and cash flow statements.

Present financial reports to management, offering insights and recommendations.

Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of

financial data.

Conduct periodic reviews and audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.

Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.

Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Monitor cash flow, analyze trends, and recommend strategies for optimizing cash resources.

Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient fund utilization.

Prepare and coordinate financial audits, collaborating with external auditors to ensure a smooth

audit process.

Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions.

Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and cost-

saving initiatives.

Provide insights into financial performance and areas for improvement.

Supervise and mentor finance department staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work

environment.

Support professional development and training initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.

Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
