AV Sales Executive

Job Description

RITE Technology is seeking an Audio/Visual Sales Executive to provide commercial audio-visual solutions to end users as well as verticals that lead to A/V opportunities (ie. architects, engineers, and contractors). They will manage and grow their assigned territory, achieving revenue and gross profit goals.

Reports To: Director of Sales


  • Develop and implement a sales plan to sell A/V Systems.
  • Keep current on industry and product trends.
  • Assist sales with completion of paperwork for sales processing.
  • Develop and build long-term business relationships with end-users as well as strategic alliances that lead to A/V opportunities (ie. architects, engineers, and contractors) which promote RITE’s products and services.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Integration – Perform needs assessments, design systems, develop sales proposals/estimates and presentations..
  • Work with operations, finance, and other inside and outside resources as necessary.
  • Follow through on sold proposals to ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Monitor progress of sale post turn-over to operations.
  • Assist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordingly.
  • Participate in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars. Keep current on market business and product trends.
  • Continue to pursue in-depth product/technical. Understand Service Level Agreements and ability to use financing to assist with projects.
  • From time to time: Train RITE team on A/V sales, product trends, and industry trends.


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, business, or a similar field preferred.
  • Minimum of Two (2) years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Moderate related technical and financial expertise with an aptitude to learn. Competently use estimating tools.


  • Experience selling and integrating the following: all levels of Pro Audio/Visual components, network solutions/services, VoIP, and/or other professional/managed services.
  • Interior design knowledge (ie. assisting with client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination)
